Our mission is to promote and enhance the Catholic faith in the Wood River Valley and develop programs that support Valley Catholics in their journey of living their faith.
The Foundation is sustained entirely through the generosity of donors. Thanks to careful financial stewardship, our principal has grown to $2.5 million—an enduring resource dedicated to supporting our parish. While the Foundation operates separately from the parish finances, every dollar stays right here in our community.
In accordance with our operational policy, the Foundation distributes 3.5% of the portfolio’s average value over the previous 12 months. This disciplined approach ensures reliable, long-term support while preserving and growing the principal for future generations. Simply put, as the Foundation grows, so does our ability to invest in the the parish community.
Each year, the parish submits funding requests that are thoughtfully reviewed by the Foundation’s Board of Directors. This process ensures that every grant directly advances our mission and makes a meaningful difference in the parish.
